Rules and Regulations:

In order to ensure that your stay at the Lazy Pelican is safe and enjoyable we have established strictly enforced guidelines that we ask every guest to follow.  Thank you for your cooperation.

REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN

Please check-in at the office upon arrival.  Check-in time is 2:00pm.  Check-out is at 11:00am.  Any guests still in their site after 11:00am on departure day who have not arranged for a late check-out will automatically be charged an extra night’s stay.  Should you choose to extend your stay beyond your original scheduled departure date, we cannot guarantee the same site or rental rate.    Please check with the Manager for extended stay options.

You may purchase a late check-out for an additional $20.  Late check-out allows a guest to remain in the park until 4:00. However, late check-outs are not guaranteed and can only be confirmed on the day prior to check-out.

Rates are based on 4 guests per site. Additional charges apply for extra guests 8 years of age or older. $2.00 per additional guest per night.

Visitors that stay in the park past 10:00 p.m. will be considered as a nightly guest and a $2.00 charge will be added to the guest bill.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any rig based upon its appearance and/or condition. Please submit a photo for RV's over 10 years old.

No tent camping in the park.

No sleeping in vehicles.

MONTHLY SITES (The Lazy Pelican does not accept permanent residents.)

Monthly sites are limited to no more than 2 adults and 2 children per site.

At the Lazy Pelican we consider a month to consist of 30 days. Monthly Guest payments are due on the 1st day of each 30 day cycle.  If payment has not been received by the close of the 3rd day of the cycle, guest will pay a late payment penalty charge in the amount of $20 per day until payment is made in full. If monthly rent is not paid within 14 days of the payment due-date, or if payment arrangements have not been made with the office, trailers are subject to being towed out of the park at the RV owner's expense.

There is a $35.00 fee for returned checks.

Guests must stay the full 30 days (full calender month) to receive the monthly rate. Early departure will result in weekly/daily rates.

Each Monthly Guest must allow us to keep a credit card on file for monthly billing.  This will automatically take place on the 1st of each monthly cycle.  If you will not be staying the full 30 days, please let us know one week in advance so we can charge you accordingly, (i.e. convert to daily or weekly rates).

Monthly guests are responsible for sewer line protection from yard maintenance.

Monthly guests who are expecting mail on a regular basis should rent a Post Office Box at the local Post Office.

Monthly guests have a scheduled departure date specified by the guest, and recorded when the original reservation is made.  Please regularly reassess your scheduled departure date to assure it is correct, and contact us with any updates or changes.  We will book another reservation in your site after your scheduled departure date.

We do not allow subleasing. The space must be occupied by the registered guest.

VISITORS

Visitors are allowed as long as they comply with these rules and regulations.  It is your responsibility to inform them of such.  Any visitor who does not follow these rules and regulations will be asked to vacate the premises.

DRIVING & PARKING

Each site is allowed two vehicles. Additional tow-trailers or vehicles will be subject to additional charges.

All extra vehicles must be parked in the area designated "Additional Parking".

Do not park outside of your assigned site or on unoccupied pads. Tow trailers are to be parked in an office-designated space in the storage area at the north end of the park.

Observe a safe speed and watch for children, pets, and wildlife.  Park only in your assigned space.  Only one RV and one vehicle are allowed to park at your site.  Parking in vacant RV sites is prohibited.  Vehicles parked in vacant sites will be towed at owner’s expense, at any time without notice.  Additional vehicles are allowed in designated "Additional Parking" areas.

AT YOUR SITE

Everyone is expected to keep their site clean and orderly.  Please keep your site free from trash.  All trash should be bagged and brought to the dumpster. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.   There is no trash pickup at your site.  You will be charged a clean-up fee if we have to pick up your trash and butts!  Only normal household garbage may be placed in dumpster.  No heavy items, appliances, construction debris, furniture, tires, paint, hazardous chemicals or large items may be placed in dumpster.  Please do not place garbage on the ground next to the dumpster.

All sewer lines must be free from leaks and have a “do-nut” or threaded attachment into the sewer.

We do not allow large mats (rugs) on the grass. Small door mats are acceptable.

Normal outdoor items such as chairs, grills, bikes, etc. are permitted outside your unit.  All outdoor items should be kept to a minimum and should be neat and orderly.  High winds can occur at any time along the coast.  Be sure all outdoor items are secured.

We do not allow clotheslines at your site.   There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers for your convenience.

Washing RVs and vehicles is prohibited. A charge of $10.00 for rinsing vehicles can be arranged with the office.

If you clean fish at your site, please pick up and immediately place leftovers in the slough.  The turtles and crabs will appreciate the snack.

Due to noise, generators are not allowed except during emergencies such as a power outage.

Please do not remove picnic tables from other sites.  If you are planning a group gathering we can make an exception, provided all tables are put back; however, you MUST check with the office beforehand.

Vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and other repairs are not allowed, except for minor fixes.  If you have any questions as to what is acceptable and what is not, please consult with a Manager first.
